The press-secretary for the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, Khatia Moistsrapishvili, has informed today about problems crossing Georgian-Russian border at the Lars-Kazbegi checkpoint and noted that these are Russian problems. As Moistsrapishvili explained, she didn’t mean weather-related causes, the checkpoint is not coping with the flow of trucks.
"The flow has been increased mainly due to Armenian transit. We let them in very quickly, but Russia could not provide them with timely and effective entry,’’ Georgia Online cites her.
