The XV Summer European Youth Olympic Festival in Baku was organized really well, Irish athletes Kiva Donoy and Eve MacGibbon in said an interview with Vestnik Kavkaza.
"These competition are great. Stadium is really cool. This is my second international tournament, but everything is great. I like everything very much," Kiva Donoe said, adding that this is her first visit to Baku.
Eve McGibbon also stressed that she enjoyed performing in Baku. “I think these competitions are really great because they are international. It's great that people from different countries have gathered here,” she said.
The XV Summer European Youth Olympic Festival is being held in Baku on July 21-27. The festival will be attended by more than 3,900 athletes from 48 European countries. Athletes will compete in ten kinds of sports - gymnastics, athletics, basketball, cycling, handball, judo, swimming, tennis, volleyball and wrestling. In total, athletes will compete for 135 sets of medals.
