The company Kizlyaragrocomplex is to organize production of cheeses and oils, which previously had to be imported from abroad, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Dagestan reports.
According to the head of the department of animal husbandry and breeding, Yusuf Yusufov, the company has managed not only to make a significant contribution to import substitution, but also to create new employment opportunities.
Prior to that, milk-production and meat-processing were upgraded at the plants in the context of the project Efficient Agriculture. The productivity increased to 200 and 5 tons a day respectively.
