Turkey began rapprochement with Russia after it realized that it is one of few countries that actually fights against international terrorism, the first deputy chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security, Frants Klintsevich, noted in connection with another act of terrorism that happened in Turkey.
"In my opinion, the fact that Turkey resumed closer cooperation with Russia is primarily happening because it finally realized one indisputable fact. Russia is one of the few countries that really fight against international terrorism," he said.
