Tbilisi feels optimistic about the upcoming NATO summit in Brussels, Georgian Parliament Speaker Irakli Kobakhidze said during a visit to the United States.
"We have optimistic expectations for the NATO summit. We are actively engaged in cooperation with the alliance; a variety of initiatives being implemented together with NATO heighten our capacities, and we are eagerly waiting for every step toward Georgia's full integration into NATO," Interfax cited Kobakhidze as saying.
He stressed that Georgia is committed to integrating into NATO.
Yesterday, Kobakhidze had meetings with U.S. congressmen, the Georgian parliament's press service reported.
