We should respect the court decision, - Georgia’s Parliamentary Speaker Irakli Kobakhidze has said in response to a question regarding Tianeti Mayoral Candidate Tamaz Mechiauri, InterPressNews reported.
As a reminder, Mtskheta Court delivered a verdict that Mechiauri win Tianeti mayoral elections. The verdict was appealed by four subject but the Appeal Court upheld the previous verdict, declaring Tamaz Mechiauri as Mayor-Elect.
In turn, Georgia’s Parliamentary Speaker explained that all should act in accordance with the court decision.
"It is not my prerogative to evaluate the court decision. We should respect institutions. Court is one of the special institutions we need to respect. Therefore, we all should act in accordance with the decision made by it," Kobakhidze has remarked.
