No one organizes gymnastic tournaments as good as the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, Georgian gymnast Konstantin Kuzovkov said, speaking with Vestnik Kavkaza after performing in the floor exercise qualification at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku.
"Nowhere, except Baku, there is no such magnificent organization. Here a certain person is assigned to each group of countries, a bus arrives at the hotel every 30 minutes, anywhere we will always be directed, prompted, everyone will do what is necessary. Moreover, AGF employees and volunteers know every athlete by sight and personally invite them to the projectile," he stressed.
"Baku is like a home to me now, For the third year in a row I arrive here for the World Cup. This year, we finally had a chance to enjoy the city, since we live in its very center," Konstantin Kuzovkov said.
The FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup is held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on March 14-17. According to the new rules, the World Cup is a qualifying event for Tokyo-2020 Summer Olympic Games. 170 gymnasts from 41 countries will contest medals at the tournament.
