Washington’s declarations of the cyber attacks on the Russian Internet resources is an ‘emergency situation’, requiring consideration of the UN Security Council, the head of the Federation Council's International Affairs Committee, Konstantin Kosachev, said.
"This is a direct threat of use of force by the United States. This is an unprecedented occasion. In my opinion, this has not been since the days of the Cuban missile crisis. It is a threat of cyber-terrorism, which comes from the state, it is an emergency situation, which implies its analysis at the level of the UN Security Council, it is, of course , a situation which requires the adoption of all possible measures to ensure the national security on the part of Russia,’’ Kosachev said.
