Kremlin closely monitors oil price situation

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that fluctuations in oil prices are a sign of volatility, adding that Moscow keeps a close eye on the oil prices. 

"The price of oil is a volatile substance, everyone closely watches this volatility: both exporting countries and consumer countries," TASS cited the spokesman as saying.

Peskov stressed that Moscow is closely monitoring the situation, but did not speak about the Russian position at OPEC negotiations on production quotas.
