Kremlin comments on possibility of Putin-Mistura meeting

Russian President Vladimir Putin has no plans to meet with U.N. special envoy on Syria Staffan de Mistura, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"The meeting wasn't scheduled," RIA Novosti cited Peskov as saying.

Staffan de Mistura will visit Moscow tomorrow for talks on Syria with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu.
