Moscow does not consider Juan Guaido as head of state, he is Venezuelan parliament speaker, Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"Mr. Guaido is the Venezuelan parliament speaker. We do not consider him as head of state, we don’t recognize him as such. Mr. Nicolas Maduro is the head of state and his government is our partner in Venezuela," TASS cited the spokesman as saying.
At the same time, Peskov said that the Kremlin is ready to consider a message from Guaido once it arrives, but they haven’t received any messages so far.
