Russian President Vladimir Putin had a meaningful meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
According to him, the sides discussed regional affairs and conflict situations. In particular, Putin briefed the Israeli PM on his recent trips to Damascus.
"They hashed over Syrian affairs, those aspects that cause the Israeli partners’ concern, and compared positions on other issues. Also, bilateral issues were discussed," TASS cited Peskov a saying.
