China's decision to abstain in the voting on the UN Security Council draft resolution on Syria is a sovereign position of the state, Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"In this case, we have no right to comment on this," Peskov said, answering the question about how Kremlin views the fact that the day before China abstained from voting in the UN Security Council on the draft resolution on Syria, considering intensification of contacts between Beijing and Washington.
