The Kremlin does not think that the intercept of a US P-8 Poseidon spy jet by a Russian Su-30 fighter plane over the Black Sea was an unjustified risk, the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"No, the Kremlin does not think so," TASS cited the presidential spokesman as saying.
Russia’s Defense Ministry confirmed on Friday that a US surveillance aircraft P-8A Poseidon was intercepted by a Russian Su-30 fighter jet over the Black Sea on May 9.
