Risks associated with politicization of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline project have existed for a long time, the Kremlin is aware of them, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday, Urdu Point reported.
"The risks associated with the politicization of the Nord Stream, the risks associated with blatant manifestations of unfair competition from third countries in relation to the Nord Stream, exist. We see them well and are aware of this," Peskov told reporters when asked about possible risks regarding the implementation of the Nord Stream-2 project in connection with the recent Russia-Ukraine incident in the Kerch Strait.
