Krasnodar Territory has imposed restrictions on imports of pig products from Crimea due to the epidemic of African swine fever (ASF), the vice-governor of the region on issues of the agricultural sector Andrey Korobka said.
"After the outbreak of ASF, Crimea automatically fell under these restrictions (restrictions on imports of pig products from the regions have been in place from 2013), which is why Krasnodar Territory did not take additional measures to limit imports of Crimean pork and processed pig products,'' RIA Novosti-Crimea cites the vice-governor.
