The head of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratiev, said that the region's schools are ready to enrol children.
From April 1, schools in the region "begin accepting applications from parents of future first-graders, including residents from the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics who moved to the Kuban."
“We expect that in total, this year, for the first time, more than 80,000 children will come to schools,” Kondratyev says.
Tens of thousands of people from all over the country come to the Krasnodar Territory every year, he added. “Therefore, we pay special attention to the construction of social facilities. In the past six years, over 60 schools were opened. Now we are building 17 more, five of which will accept children as early as September 1,” the governor informs.
