Kudrin: Russia's GDP decreases by 1.5% due to sanctions

The sanctions imposed against Russia have led to a 1.5% decrease in its GDP, former Finance Minister Alexey Kudrin believes.

"The sanctions greatly complicated the situation in the country. GDP is 1.5% lower than it would have been without them," RBC quoted him as saying.

The former Minister noted that they could have a positive impact on the situation in individual sectors of the economy, but so far "the results are either absent or are in their infancy."
