Kurdish activists attack Turkish demonstration in Bern

Kurdish activists have attacked a demonstration of the Turkish Union of Democrats for Europe, which was held today in Bern.

The participants in the demonstration were expressing their protest against the terrorist activities of the PKK in eastern Turkey.

They were attacked by members of the local Kurdish community, which made an effort to break up the demonstration. At the same time, according to some reports, the balance of power was 180 against 100 in favor of those who attacked. According to photographs from the scene, the Kurdish side took an extreme step and knocked demonstrators down with a car.

Swiss police had to use tear gas and rubber bullets in order to stop the disorders.
