Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili met with the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
During his meeting, the burgeoning partnership between Ukraine and Georgia in political, economic, cultural and tourism matters was praised as the two leaders reiterated their firm support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of both countries.
Kvirikashvili and Poroshenko both expressed hope that Georgian and Ukrainian citizens would enjoy short-term visa-free travel to the EU from mid-2017, Agenda.ge reports.
The meeting was attended by the Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mikhail Janelidze and the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Gakharia.
