Kvirikashvili leaves for Brussels

A Georgian delegation headed by Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili will visit Brussels today to meet with the leadership of the European Union.

During the two-day visit the prime minister will meet with the President of the European Council Donald Tusk, after which they will make joint statements for the media.

In addition, Kvirikashvili will meet with the head of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker and the EU Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn.

The Georgian Prime Minister is also scheduled to meet with the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Herbert Salber, Sputnik Georgia reports.

The visit of the Georgian delegation will last until February 10.
