A meeting of Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili with representatives of the non-parliamentary opposition is to take place this week in Georgia in order to discuss the electoral system of the country.
Recall that at the end of last month the Prime Minister and the opposition agreed to form a working group on the electoral system.
Representatives of the opposition demanded the abolition of the majority voting system before the elections in 2016. They have even filed a claim with the Constitutional Court of Georgia. But despite the demands of the opposition, the country's authorities are ready to make changes only in 2020.
