Kyrgyz CEC announces election results

The Central Electoral Commission of Kyrgyzstan announced the final results of the parliamentary elections held on October 4, the head of the republic's CEC, Tuigunaaly Abdraimov, said.

The political parties gained the following number of seats in Parliament: the Social Democratic Party – 38 seats, Republic-Ata-Jurt – 28 seats, Kyrgyzstan – 18 seats, Onuguu (Progress) – 13 seats, Bir-Bol – 12 seats, Ata-Meken – 11 seats.
