The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan is ready to intervene in the situation on the currency market of the republic at any moment, to stabilize the exchange rate of the Kyrgyz som, the chairman of the National Bank Tolkunbek Abdygulov stated today.
According to Abdygulov's forecast, the rate of the som will stabilize "in September." He did not rule out that the depreciation of the currencies of the main economic partners may cause "inflation processes" in Kyrgyzstan. "But we will take measures to keep inflation at 5-7%," TASS quotes the chairman of the National Bank.
