Kyrgyz President Sooronbai Jeenbekov sent a letter of condolences to President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in connection with the death of Uzbek citizens in a bus fire in Aktobe region of Kazakhstan, the President's press service said.
The President expressed his deep sympathy and support to relatives of the victims and wished a speedy recover to those injured, AKIpress reported.
The accident happened at 10:30 local time today in the Irgiz district of Aktobe region. There were 55 passengers and 2 drivers in the Ikarus passenger bus. Only five passengers managed to escape the burning vehicle and were treated by rescue workers on the spot.
