Kyrgyzstan hit by 5 magnitude quake

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5 points was registered in Kyrgyzstan, the Seismology Institute under the National Academy of Sciences said.

The earthquake's epicenter was located 8 km northwest of the village of Kyzyl-Jar, and 25 km southwest of the town of Tash-Kumyr.

According to preliminary data, there was no information about possible victims or damage.
