Kyrgyzstan increases investment in Azerbaijan's economy

According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyz investment reached $7.7 million during the first six months of 2025—78 times higher than the previous year's equivalent period.

Kyrgyzstan's share of foreign direct investment in Azerbaijan totaled 0.2%. Overall foreign direct investment in Azerbaijan grew by 8.2% year-on-year to over $3.2 billion (an increase of $244.3 million), Trend reports.

Azerbaijan likewise increased its overseas investments by 35.2% to $1.35 billion in the first half of 2025.
