The International rating agencies Moody's and Standard & Poor's have assigned Kyrgyzstan's sovereign credit rating at 'B2' with a stable outlook and 'B'.
"This rating, according to the Ministry of Economy, reflects the current economic situation in the country and is the benchmark for its further improvement through structural adjustment and economic reforms," the department said.
According to the Ministry of Economy, the assignment of credit ratings will have a positive impact on specific banks and companies in addition to the general economic effect.
