During last week's visit to Iran, the head of LUKOIL, Vagit Alekperov, reached an agreement with the authorities of the country on the possible involvement of the company in several mining projects in the country, Deputy Energy Minister Anatoly Yanovsky said.
"I know that Alekperov was in Iran last week. They agreed on the possible participation of LUKOIL in several mining projects,'' RIA Novosti cites him as saying.
