At talks held between the Vice-President of LUKOIL for the development of the segment 'Exploration and Production', Dmitry Timoshenko, and the Deputy Iranian Oil Minister, Rukn al-Din Javadi, at an international forum in the framework of which the republic has introduced oil and gas projects to international investors, they reached an agreement to open representative offices of the Russian company in this country in April, the Commissioner for Legal Affairs at the National Iranian oil Company (NIOC) Ali Akbar Maherhzad reported.
"Mr. Tymoshenko held a meeting with Mr. Javadi during the forum, the meeting lasted for several hours. At this meeting, they discussed the formula of the new Iranian proposals," RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
"Tymoshenko stressed the need and importance of this conference, and at the same time stressed the need to start negotiations between the company and Iran on the background of the new proposals," Maherhzad added.
