Large-scale artillery drills in North Caucasus

According to the head of the press service of the Southern Military District, Colonel Vadim Astafiev, the large-scale military exercises started in the North Caucasus.

"The units of the missile forces and artillery of the 58th Army of the South Caucasian Military District stationed in the North Caucasus and Transcaucasia began to conduct the field drills ... more than 2,500 servicemen and about 500 missile and artillery armament units, military and special equipment are involved in the drills,” Astafyev said.
