The traffic along the Georgian Military Highway connecting Russia with the countries of the South Caucasus was allowed for vehicles with a trailer and semi-trailer. The relevant information was published on the website of the Department of Roads of the Ministry of Regional Development of Georgia.
Thus, the department reminded that the Gudauri-Kobi section of the interstate road Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars was closed for heavy trucks in the morning due to snow and ice. Now the road is cleared. Here, the movement of vehicles is carried out in continuous mode and only through the tunnels equipped with the avalanche protection. It is also prohibited to stop on the Mleta-Gudari section of the road, Sputnik Georgia specifies.
