Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu discussed by phone the situation regarding the Syrian settlement and upcoming top- and high-level Russian-Turkish contacts, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement Thursday, UrduPoint reported.
"The ministers exchanged views on the current state of the Syrian settlement process, the efforts they are making within the framework of the Astana format... A number of practical issues were also discussed in connection with upcoming top- and high-level Russian-Turkish contacts," the statement said.
