Lavrov: Russia to continue work to save INF arms treaty

Russia will continue its work to save the Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF) despite numerous problems and hopes Washington will take a responsible approach to arms control treaties, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a press conference in Moscow, the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza reported.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said following Russian-US consultations on the INF Treaty in Geneva that Moscow has offered to take a series of measures to raise Washington’s grievances concerning the INF Treaty.
