Lavrov: US secret services try to recruit Russian diplomat

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov revealed at the press conference that the US secret services made an effort to recruit a minister-counsellor working in Russian embassy in Washington.

"In April 2016, the US secret services made an effort to recruit a minister-counsellor working in Russian embassy in Washington. The Russian minister counsellor was approached, while another senior diplomat found $10,000 in cash and a note offering cooperation in his car," Sputnik cited the minister as saying.
