The West is burying the initiative of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on gratis transfer of Russian fertilizers to Africa, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Thursday at the G20 Foreign Ministers Meeting.
"Batches of gratis cargo of Russian fertilizers, particularly for Africa, remain blocked in European ports," Lavrov said. "The West shamelessly buries the known humanitarian initiative of the UN Secretary General," the diplomat noted.
Russia will continue making a material contribution to provision of economic stability, the minister added.
