Russian and Turkish Foreign Ministers Sergey Lavrov and Mevlut Cavusoglu held the talks on the sidelines of the 39th foreign ministerial meeting of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) in Baku.
Cavusoglu said that he discussed with Lavrov the issues of bilateral cooperation and other topical regional issues.
"We discussed trade issues, visa and consular issues, as well as joint projects and the situation in Syria," Trend cited him as saying.
“The Russian and Turkish presidents are conducting an intensive dialogue on bilateral relations. During this meeting, we discussed further steps to implement the decisions made by the presidents of the two countries," the Turkish FM added.
