The Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, and the US Secretary of State, John Kerry, have urged Azerbaijan and Armenia to cease hostilities in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
It is known that today, a telephone conversation on Karabakh between Lavrov and Kerry was held, during which the diplomats "expressed serious concern over escalation of the conflict in the region."
"It was agreed to intensify the efforts of Russia, the USA and France as co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group to assist in the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict," TASS cites the report.
