Today, as part of the high-level week of 70th session of the UN General Assembly,a meeting of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry will be held, at which the parties will discuss the crisis in Syria and the process of the Ukrainian conflict settlement.
According to preliminary information, one of the main topics of conversation will be the situation in Syria and Russia's participation in resolving the crisis in this country.
In addition, the Russian Foreign Minister will today speak at the summit on the global agenda for development beyond 2015, RIA Novosti reported.
