Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry have held a telephone conversation to discuss the upcoming meeting on Syria in Vienna, which is to take place on November 14th.
"They discussed Syrian issues in the context of preparations for the upcoming meeting on assistance in establishing a political process with the participation of the Syrian authorities, patriotic opposition and consolidation of efforts in the fight against terrorism in this country, which is to take place in Vienna on November 14th," RIA news cites Russian Foreign Ministry.
