Lavrov and Turkey's Cavusoglu to meet in Moscow on March 14

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will hold a session of the Russian-Turkish Intergovernmental Joint Commission in Moscow on March 14, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zaharova said at a news conference.

She added that the commission will clarify their positions on key issues of bilateral agenda and analyze the performance of agreements reached by the presidents of both countries.

According to her, the sides will also examine the realization of joint projects, including the construction of the Akkuyu nuclear power plant and the gas pipeline Turkish Stream.

In addition, the ministers will discuss preparations for a high-level Russian-Turkish Cooperation Council meeting, while also taking the Syrian conflict onto the agenda.
