Lavrov and Zarif discuss ceasefire in Syria

The Foreign Ministers of Russia and Iran, Sergey Lavrov and Mohammad Javad Zarif, have discussed the compliance with the ceasefire regime in Syria during a telephone conversation.

"They discussed the situation in the Middle East region with a focus on the implementation of the ceasefire regime in Syria. The Foreign Ministers have agreed to continue to coordinate efforts in the interests of the truce in Syria, in accordance with the provisions of UN Security Council Resolution 2268," TASS cites the message of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
