Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has named the main topics of the upcoming speech of Russian President Vladimir Putin at the UN General Assembly.
"We believe that Putin will set out our basic assessment on the most topical problems of the modern world,’’ Gazeta.ru quotes him as saying.
In addition, the president will raise such issues as settlements of the conflicts in Syria and Ukraine and the fight against the threat of international terrorism in his speech.
