Lavrov: border between Turkey and Syria should be blocked

The border between Turkey and Syria should be blocked in order to prevent the penetration of terrorists from the Syrian territory to Turkey, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said today in a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State John Kerry.

According to the website of the Russian Foreign Minister, Lavrov and Kerry ‘‘agreed to intensify work with all Syrian parties and interested countries in order to achieve a strict compliance with the International Syrian Support Group and the UN Security Council resolutions."
