Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, following the meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry in Vienna, stated that the current multilateral meeting on Syria in Vienna will ensure progress in the further fight against terrorist organizations.
"I believe that, as John Kerry said, we have no excuse not to do more to defeat ISIS, Nusra (Jabhat al-Nusra). And I am sure that this meeting will allow us to move forward," TASS quoted him as saying.
At the same time, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that there is no justification for terrorist acts, and there should be no tolerance of terrorists.
