On Tuesday, May 31, a meeting was held in Riyadh between Russian and Saudi Foreign Ministers Sergey Lavrov and Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Kingdom's Foreign Minister noted that he was glad to meet with his Russian counterpart and discuss a number of important issues.
"I am very glad to have the opportunity to meet with you today, as well as tomorrow at the [forum's] Russia - the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Persian Gulf meeting, to discuss topical issues and hear your assessments", the Saudi minister was quoted by TASS.
Let us remind you that on May 31, Sergey Lavrov arrived in Riyadh on a visit. Tomorrow, he will take part in a joint ministerial meeting of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), and will also hold bilateral meetings with the Foreign Ministers of the UAE and Kuwait.
