Russia has small demands on the US leadership, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said today.
"We want good, even, mutually respectful, equal relations with the United States, as with any other country in the world. Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about this with US President Joe Biden, who at a meeting in Geneva in June 2021 confirmed precisely this attitude", Lavrov said in the program "Sunday Time" on Channel One, RIA Novosti reports.
Russia, like the United States, has its own interests, and "Taught by bitter experience, we do not want to remain in a position where our security is being infringed on a daily basis," the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry added.
