Lavrov to visit Baku next week

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will pay an official visit to Baku on December 2-3, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said at a briefing.

According to her, the agenda of the visit includes meetings with the country's leadership and talks with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.

"A dialogue will continue on key issues in the development of bilateral relations - in the political, economic, humanitarian spheres. It is also planned to sign a plan for consultations between foreign ministries in 2020," the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza cited Zakharova as saying.
