Leyla Aliyeva to Vestnik Kavkaza: it's a pleasure they love Azerbaijani culture in Russia

Culture is something that has always united all people, including Russia and Azerbaijan, the vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the head of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation branch in Russia, Leyla Aliyeva, said, speaking with a correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza at the opening of the exhibition of Azerbaijani artists of 1960-1980's 'Absheron Constellation', which is being held in the State Tretyakov Gallery on the Crimean Val.

"I believe that culture is the most important thing, it always unites all people. Azerbaijan has always been very fond of Russian culture, Russian literature and Russian language –and it's a pleasure that they also treat Azerbaijani culture the same way in Russia," Leyla Aliyeva stressed.

"This exhibition is a huge success and a great event. We are very pleased and proud that today this exhibition is being held in Moscow. Each of these paintings has a long history and great energy," she noted.
