Lightning claims lives of two Azerbaijani border guards

On the morning of June 9, two servicemen of the State Border Service became victims of a lightning strike in Azerbaijan. The relevant information was published by the department itself.

It is clarified that lightning struck the military personnel while they were performing border guard duties on the territory of the Lankaran border detachment of the State Border Guard Troops.

"The leadership of the State Border Service expresses deep condolences to the families and loved ones of the fallen servicemen and wishes them patience",

An investigation has been launched into the incident.
